I can remember seeing pictures of myself as a baby playing in the mud alongside frogs and toads. I am grateful to have been born into a family that accepts a kid that would bring in fish from the lake and track mud throughout the house. My father and mother are landscape nursery owners, because of this, I have gained a great understanding of the biodiversity from what we call home; earth. Last year I started a garden in my front yard. The garden was under a peach tree with a very rich soil. I was amazed by the yield of crops as well as how much money I saved each day. It was a great pleasure to walk outside and pick my dinner.
This truth needs to be gained for each American. Each American having less co-dependence on one another for the love of the earth, body and spirit. I believe that we can change this nation around one garden at a time. This will lesson the amount of fuel being consumed. It is time for change for the better. Ground up, plant soft, educate now.
