Jo Ann Hillery

Jo Ann Hillery has over fifteen years of corporate experience managing financial and operational aspects for several businesses as well as international companies. She received her Economics degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her expertise in the running of a business and her passion for bringing to light the importance of regaining our power over the food industry collide in this venture.

“My interest in organic gardening has become a passionate topic over the last few years.  Through research I was doing for another project, I came across information about the large food companies and how agriculture has changed over the last 50 years especially.  It was only a matter of time before I was scouring the web for information regarding every level of the agricultural process.  All of that sparked my interest to be part of this food revolution at the most important level.  I want to work with the individuals in my community knowing this is the best way to make a difference, one step and one garden at a time.”
